The beautiful forest, mountain meadows, and crystal clear lakes invite you to hours of walking. The sims 3 mods supports custom careers, and there is an option to choose which of the existing careers to base it on (which determines which objects increases performance, and which objects inactive Sims will be pushed to use).Ī text file containing a list of supported objects for each career is included in the downloaded file. All metrics are automatically supported, including career-specific ones. The speed that performance increases also depends largely on metrics defined in the “Performance” area, such as mood and skills. Inactive Sims will be automatically pushed to use certain objects. You can assign a career to a lot by clicking on that lot, selecting “Zerbu” then “Ultimate Careers” then “Add Career or School“, select the career or school you want, and select an existing rabbithole that contains that career or school.Īll Sims in the selected career/school who would normally be sent to that rabbit hole to work will now be sent to the lot you assign it to.įrom there, performance will increase or decrease depending on which objects your Sims are using. The mod scans the Sim’s interaction queue, and increases performance depending on which interactions are being used. But I've had pretty darn good luck for 2+ yrs mucking around with copying that whole directory tree around. The end of career rabbitholes is here! With Ultimate Careers, instead of going into a rabbit hole to work, Sims will spend the work day at a community lot, doing work-related interactions – or slacking off.

Strong hint: look up "mklink"!Ĭan't just backup your save folder, have to do the whole bloody thing b/c KW saves stuff over in the Library (and maybe elsewhere). But I've had pretty darn good luck for 2+ yrs mucking around with copying that whole directory tree around. (after doing a backup) I might even try just disabling KW, save, exit, start, load, re-enable KW, and check if that does it.Ĭan't just backup your save folder, have to do the whole bloody thing b/c KW saves stuff over in the Library (and maybe elsewhere). doing a NRaas-MC-Town-Reset All can help clear out some glitches. as I mentioned 408's got modeling issues.) something older than 409, fire up your game, check if it works, then nuke that directory, put your backup back in place, and decide if you want to really drop back to an earlier version. (Strong suggestion: make a full copy of that whole documents\EA\TS3 folder thing elsewhere, drop in 408, 407.

Anyway, the suggestion buried in there is to try to drop back to 408 & see if you can select your other sims. Was this a teen or adult sim? My TS3-capable computer is off, so can't check, but I'm thinking I got stuck w/ the teen modeling with a challenge that kept ringing her phone every sim minute (ignoring that I said "NO" I don't accept that opportunity/challenge).
